Helping rural kids grow, learn, and thrive!
At Blossom Rural, we are passionate about providing quality allied health services to rural and remote families, across Australia.
We are a rural-focused Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy service providing accessible, evidence-based support to children, families and schools/daycares/organisations.
All of our services are delivered via teletherapy, allowing families living in small communities, regional centres, on farms and stations, to access services without the hassle of travel or long waitlists.
Blossom Rural was founded in Far Western NSW and was inspired by a distinct gap in access to allied health services for country children.
No long drives. No rushing out the door. No waiting rooms.
Our Teletherapy sessions bring therapy support directly into your home, making it easier for children to feel relaxed, engaged, and ready to learn.
Plus, parents and caregivers can be more involved along the way, helping strategies carry over into everyday life.

How we can help your child blossom
Speech Pathology
A Speech Pathologist supports children to develop the communication skills they need to learn, connect, and participate confidently in everyday life. Blossom Rural Speech Pathologists provide accessible, evidence-based services to rural and remote families across Australia via teletherapy.
Occupational Therapy
An Occupational Therapist (OT) supports children to develop the everyday skills they need to participate confidently at home, school, and in their community. Blossom Rural OT’s work with paediatric clients across Australia via teletherapy, making allied health services more accessible for rural and remote families.
Parent Coaching
At Blossom Rural, we use a parent coaching approach across both Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services. This means we work alongside your family, sharing practical strategies you can use in everyday routines to support your child’s development.
Schools & Outreach
Blossom Rural has previously partnered with rural schools to deliver an accessible and consistent Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy service via telehealth. Through this model, we have seen significant progress and outstanding outcomes for students, which we are very proud of.

Contact us
Reach out to us using the contact details provided and let us know how we can help. After you have contacted Blossom Rural, a Case History form and Service Agreement will be sent to you, via email.
Initial Consultation
A clinician will hold an Initial Consultation with the child's parent/caregiver. This will provide us the opportunity to discuss your concerns in depth and ensure we are taking the most appropriate pathway for your child.
During this session, an Initial Planning Document will be created for your child, to provide you an overview of the discussion held and some information regarding the assessments planned.
Assessment
If required, your clinician will begin the relevant assessments with your child. If you require a detailed Assessment Report, this can be written on completion of assessment. Assessment Reports include the findings of the assessment, goals for intervention and recommendations for your child's school and home.
Therapy begins!
Therapy is great fun! We use evidence-based intervention approaches to work on achieving your child’s individualised goals, determined from their assessment.
Our clinicians also use a parent coaching approach, to work alongside families and provide evidence-based strategies to implement in the household.
