We are looking for organised, hardworking and self-driven OT to join our growing team!

This position is a work-from-home role therefore, there is no need to relocate. 100% of our therapy is provided via telehealth!

  • Part-time positions with flexible working arrangements – If you are full-time, we have a shortened day on Friday meaning a long-er weekend (yay!)

  • Our Blossom Rural HUB – An amazing resource for all team members that collates internal PD sessions, P&P (in a modern format!), and how-to guides for teletherapy, resources, assessment, and a range of goals.

  • Resources required for paediatric assessment and therapy

  • Our onboarding process has been refined by our therapists and includes:

    • Daily supervision/onboarding support for your first few weeks at Blossom Rural (dependent on your needs!). Once you are comfortable, you will engage in weekly supervision with our amazing OT Erin.

    • Plenty of time to navigate the Blossom Rural Hub and practice delivering therapy/assessment via telehealth.

  • We have 3 formal catch-ups weekly, via ZOOM – including our Huddle which has quickly become our favourite part of the week!

  • Constant support from our slack channels, where you can get ideas from all our therapists at once!

  • Planning and providing evidence-based (and fun) sessions via teletherapy

  • Collaborating with the client’s multidisciplinary team (allied health professionals, school teachers, governesses), in rural areas of Australia, to ensure holistic practice is delivered

  • Develop client-centred goals which are achievable and measurable

  • Comply with the practice’s policies and procedures to ensure a high quality of record keeping and documenting/reporting

  • Ensuring that you are effectively managing your calendar and maintaining organisation and the utmost care with all tasks

  • Opportunities to assist with resource, content, and program creation for clients and social media accounts

  • You will receive a PD allowance per year

  • Occupational Therapy Qualification

  • Working With Children Checks

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance & Medicare Provider Number

  • Demonstrate good time management and communication skills

  • The ability to work within a small team and independently

  • The interest to provide a crucial OT service to rural children via teletherapy
